Sr. Structural Engineering

We are partnering with a prominent player in transportation infrastructure to find a skilled Senior Structural Professional Engineer. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to shaping vital infrastructure.

HYBRID ROLE - 3 days in the office!

Preferred location: Charlotte, NC or Rock Hill, SC

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze permanent and temporary structures, including bridges, foundations, MSE walls, formwork, and heavy lift planning.
• Provide on-site design support and inspections, including temporary structures like fall protection systems and work trestles.
• Evaluate and perform load ratings of existing structures and assist in material/shop drawing submittals.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and owners to resolve technical issues and support the value engineering process.
• Assist with new software implementations, such as 3D CAD and DatuBIM, to enhance project delivery.
• Provide engineering and estimating support during the project pursuit phase.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s (or higher) in Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with both permanent and temporary structures is a plus.
• PE licensure in the United States with the ability to obtain additional certifications as needed.
• Strong proficiency in engineering design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, RISA-3D, MathCAD, and SkyCiv.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, and legally authorized to work in the US.
